Jeala B. Barnett-Gentry, M.D., MPH, earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL. She went on to receive her Certificate of Completion from the SIU Medical/Dental Education Preparatory Program in Carbondale, IL, and there achieved her Master’s Degree in Community Health Education from Southern Illinois University. Dr. Barnet served an Internship in the Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences Residency Program at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA, and there did her Residency with the Training Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences Residency Program, eventually serving as Chief Resident with the program.
