Fast Facts about Breast and Cervical Cancers:
• Breast Cancer in the United States is the most common cancer in women, no matter your race or ethnicity.  Approximately 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.  The very best way to detect, and fight, breast cancer is with a mammogram.

• A PAP screening can detect cancer cells, but also abnormal cells that may develop into cancer if left untreated.  According to the CDC, cervical cancer used to be the leading cause of cancer death for women in the United States. However, in the past 40 years, the number of cases of cervical cancer and the number of deaths from cervical cancer have decreased significantly. This decline largely is the result of many women getting regular Pap tests, which can find cervical cancer cells before it turns into cancer.

To see if you qualify for this service, please bring proof of income at the time of your next appointment.  We'll be happy to review the program and see if you are eligible for these free health screenings.
