What is a Good Faith Estimate?
- A Good Faith Estimate (GFE) is an estimate of your expected bill for medical items/services. It is your right to receive a GFE for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services, including office visits, labs and medical tests or procedures.
How Much Will My Care Cost?
- It is difficult to know or predict exactly what type of care you will receive during your visit. Click here to review the average cost associated with different kinds of care a patient may receive from a provider with Albany Area Primary Health Care (AAPHC), based on their eligibility for our Sliding Fee Scale Program.
Disclaimer:
- This Good Faith Estimate (GFE) shows the costs of items and services that are reasonably expected for your health care needs for an item or service. The estimate is based on information known at the time the estimate was created. The GFE does not include any unknown or unexpected costs that may arise during treatment. You could be charged more if complications or special circumstances occur. You may contact the Billing Department at Albany Area Primary Health Care (AAPHC) if your billed charges are higher than your GFE. Please know that financial assistance is available.
