Dr. Timothy Pitts, DPM, brings more than 30 years of experience in podiatric medicine and surgery to Albany Area Primary Health Care (AAPHC).
He attended Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia, and earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He then completed a three-year surgical residency program at Northlake Regional Medical Center in Tucker, Georgia.
Dr. Pitts is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Georgia Podiatric Medical Association.
He is an author and contributor to numerous professional publications, including articles published in the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association and chapters in Reconstructive Surgery of the Foot and Leg, Podiatric Office Management and Procedures, and McGlamry's Comprehensive Textbook of Foot Surgery.
In addition, Dr. Pitts serves as a faculty member of the Podiatry Institute and previously served on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Podiatric Medical Association.
