Dr. Yolanda Newton’s passion for providing quality care is evident from the first meeting. She treats all patients as members of her family. She’s looking forward to embracing Albany and her patients as her home and her extended family members.

She received her Bachelor of Science from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and her doctoral degree from East Carolina University School of Medicine. She did her Residency at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, PA.

She most recently worked at McKenzie Health (Watford City, ND), where she established a general full-service women’s health service line at a critical access hospital. Prior to that, she worked as an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Palmetto Health USC Medical Group (Columbia, SC).

Dr. Newton is a member of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and American Medical Association.
